Sydney and Jake’s wedding has been a long time coming! They booked us in the very beginning of 2021, so I was thrilled when we finally got to meet in person for their engagement session this Summer! We love their story, too! Shortly after graduating from the University of Dayton, Sydney accepted a job in Colorado. I had a blast following her on social media – she spent most of her time hiking massive trails with her friends and it made me want to hop on a plane and join them all! Recently though, Sydney made her way back to the Cincinnati/Dayton area and they no longer had to have a long distance relationship!

With these two, what you see is what you get. They are truly as happy, sweet and genuine as they are on instagram and I just loved spending time with them on the evening of their engagement session. We got the most gorgeous light at Ault Park and I just knew it deserved it’s own spot on the blog!
