Caleb and I were so excited that Kevin and Naomi’s wedding day would be the one to kick off our 2020 season! We knew their day would be incredible from the second we met with them last Summer. They were such genuine people and we knew their day would be beautiful! Not because of their venue choice (which by the way, is beyond gorgeous), but because of their love for each other.

What we didn’t know, was this wild thing called Coronavirus would shake things up. This virus seemed to be getting worse by the day, and more precautionary measures were being enforced by Government officials to try and control it. We started to worry that we’d get a call that their wedding day would be postponed. Instead of worrying about something outside of our control, Caleb and I decided at the beginning of the week to intentionally pray for these two by name and that they’d still have the wedding of their dreams!

LUCKILY, by Friday we had confirmed with the incredible staff at the venue that things were still going to move forward and we were SO grateful! When we arrived to begin the day, you’d never know there was anything going on outside of those four walls. Naomi was a QUEEN! We caught up and celebrated the fact that everything was moving forward, and you could just tell she was so excited to be surrounded by her favorite gals before she said “I do”! Tears were shed at their first look, guests poured in (yes, hand sanitizer stations were EVERYWHERE) all afternoon, vows were exchanged, and everyone celebrated until the sun went down! It was even more beautiful than we could’ve imagined!

So at the end of the day, Kevin and Naomi got to promise forever to each other, and we can’t believe we were part of it. Did I mention it snowed all day?! Like, SNOW GLOBE SNOW! The kind you see in Hallmark movies that is so obviously fake – except this was VERY real! It was SUCH a gift during portrait time!

I’ll stop typing now because I could really go on forever about these two. They are both incredibly kind, generous, wonderful people and we’re thankful to call them friends! We hope you love your sneak peek, Kevin and Naomi! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives! <3
