Kayla here! We’re so glad you stopped by!

Before I dive into this, Caleb and I just want to express how thankful we are. Maybe it’s the holidays that have us feeling sappy, but I don’t think so. I think we have some of the most incredible ‘life cheerleaders’ around us, and we’re SO grateful for each and every one of ya!

For those of you who hire us year after year to document all of life’s big moments…who share about us to friends and family…who watch our sweet pup when we’re gone on a long wedding day…and for those who simply cheer us on via social media or in real life… THANK YOU! We can’t say it enough!

Three little years ago, we started this adventure together. In December of 2016, ‘Kayla & Caleb’ was officially born. We whipped together an insanely simple website and told the world we were OPEN FOR BUSINESS! We started posting new work on social media, and luckily, the demand was there. We continued booking weddings and sessions and boy were we busy! It wasn’t until roughly a year later, we noticed just HOW simple our website was…maybe it was too boring? It definitely lacked personality, depth and character. It wasn’t something we ever spent time updating and we didn’t necessarily feel proud of it. People would ask us for business cards and we’d just shy away from the obvious and tell them how to follow us on social media, instead.

We decided to make a change.

So fast forward to pouring ALL our extra energy and late nights into making this website beautiful… and here we are! We’re finally (REALLY FREAKIN’) proud of our new little corner of the internet.

Caleb and I have always said that people come first, and the relationships we build through this business are way more important than any amount of money or new piece of gear we could get our hands on. We finally feel like we have a space that represents us, our brand, and what we stand for.

We want anyone who stumbles across our site to feel happier just by showing up. We want to remind them that THEIR STORIES MATTER, whether or not they choose to book us for a single session.

So, what can you expect from this little space of ours (particularly this new blog)? LOTS of beautiful photos of our amazing clients, our weekend happenings, pro-tips for clients, new recipes we’re loving, and everything in between.
