Derek and Katelyn had the most wonderful wedding day! Other than a few (not-so-tiny) mosquito bites at our first portrait location, the day was absolutely PERFECT!

We crossed paths with these two because Derek had actually been IN a couple of weddings we’ve photographed over the years! When we “met” over FaceTime, I instantly recognized him and connected the dots! Katelyn and I also have quite a few mutual friends, so we like to think this friendship was fate! 😉

Derek nearly melted into a puddle when he saw his beautiful bride at their first look, their ceremony was incredible personal; performed by a family friend, and they even took time to go table to table to thank each of their guests for joining them during such an uncertain time in the world. You could just tell how important their friends and family are to them!

These two radiated joy ALL day. I swear I never caught them without a smile on their faces!
